MEET OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
The leadership team at COB EM consists of the ordained pastor, teacher, deacons, and members who have the confidence to guide our community in faith, answer questions, conduct services and organize church events.

Minwoo Heo
EM Pastor
Pastor Minwoo and Christina have been faithfully serving at Church of Bethlehem since 2020. They are proud parents of three daughters. Minwoo earned his B.A. from Calvin University ('09). After graduation, he served as an interpreting officer in the Republic of Korea Air Force and worked as a marketer at Samsung. He later completed his M.Div. at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Minwoo is fluent in both English and Korean.

Jin Lee
Youth Pastor
Pastor Jin graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a degree in English Literature. He earned his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary and completed a Th.M. in New Testament from Western Seminary. Currently, he is pursuing a doctorate in Intercultural Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Jin is married and has one daughter.

Yujin Surh
Pastor Assistant
Yujin earned her B.A. from Wheaton College and completed her master's degrees at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Old Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Christina Shandro
Elementary Teacher
Christina did her BA at Calvin University ('09) and is studying for her MA in Theological Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She has been faithfully serving the elementary school aged children since 2022. Christina is fluent in English and Korean.

Jinsook Kim
Pre-Elementary Teacher
Jinsook earned her degree from Seoul Women's University in Seoul, South Korea. She served as a missionary in India and Thailand for over a decade. She later completed her M.Div. at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
